Marvins Revolt Call it a Day

It’s with great sadness that I announce Marvins Revolt have decided to break up after almost ten years of being a band. They were the first band I worked with and some of my best friends. All I can say is Thanks to the band for being the nicest people over the years we worked together, always a smile and positive words through all their trials and tribulations. I look forward to hearing what music they all create in the future.

From their Myspace Blog:

“After almost a decade of making music together as Marvins Revolt, we have decided to put the band to sleep for an unknown period of time.

This decision was made collectively as everything else we’ve ever done. Even though we’ve enjoyed almost every minute of this great adventure, we’ve come to a place where the thrills and kicks that used to make it all worthwhile, aren’t strong enough any longer. We simply don’t have the passion for creating music together as Marvins Revolt any longer, the same goes for recording, touring and all the other stuff associated with the band. So the only right thing for us to do now is this.

We don’t know if we’ll ever join forces again musicwise as Marvins Revolt, but as for now, Marvins Revolt is no longer active.

We would like to thank everybody who has supported us throughout the years, everyone who has showed up to our shows, put on shows with us, had us sleeping, cooked for us, shared a stage with us etc. etc. And of course a very special thanks to our labels worldwide, HipHipHip in France, PlayRec in Denmark, Parabolica in Japan and the almighty Richter Collective in Ireland. Thanks for your incredible amounts of work invested in us, we’re forever in debt to you.

Thanks for the ride.

Klaus, Martin and Søren.”
