Worrier
Worrier is a computer with arms and legs like a real boy; intricate, precise and and slightly neurotic. Founding members CD Boleratzky (forsake ya to the snakes, sigliosi, supermedic records) and Scott Anderson (free diamonds, deep elm records) hail from distant corners of the world, linked only by a highly unlikely story of theft and debauched humor. A more unlikely stories of small town boredom (involving an 1884 coffin factory) introduced Jerome O’ Callaghan (forsake ya to the snakes, no dice fine wine, supermedic records) and Sean Wilke (forsake ya to the snakes, kill for your love, bind, supermedic records). The four had mapped the globe imprinting their indie stomps for over a decade before ultimately meeting at the main processor (Soar Dead Swans Studios – Milwaukee, WI) in early 2008, where they mapped the blueprints to their debut album. Three months wholed up in the studio overlooking a frozen lake created a dense, frantic and exhilerating soundscape, both unique and hip shakingly familiar.
